Wonderful Welly Walks - 2017
Our children and staff take part in welly walks each week, we explore our local area in Yatton including the Strawberry Line, the train station, local parks and shops as well as trips a little further away including Backwell Lake and Clevedon seafront. Read more….
Firefighters visit Happy Hours Yatton - 2014
As part of our ‘people who help us’ topic we were very lucky to have a fire engine and firefighters visit us at nursery on the 6th of August 2014; the fire officers told us all about their job and how they help and rescue people. We got to try on their special protective helmet and fire the hose!! We even got to climb into the very big red fire engine. We thought it was very funny when Vicky dressed up in all the heavy firefighter suit! Read more….
Staff nurse Walker visits Happy Hours Yatton - 2014
Sarah came in to nursery to tell us all about her job as a nurse, she brought along lots of different things for us to see and try out; a stethoscope, thermometer, bandages and dressings, plasters, lights for looking in our mouths and a blood pressure machine. We had some special work sheets to colour in and cut out to make our own pictures of a nurse. Read more….
Yatton carnival - June 2014
We all had a wonderful time taking part for the first time in the Yatton carnival in June 2014; the theme was space and the children had a fantastic time dressing up and walking through the high street waving at all their friends along the way. Boogie Beats - December 2013
We welcomed Fran from Boogie beats back this year for the children’s Christmas Party celebrations. Fran taught us all some great new Christmassy songs and rhymes as well as enjoying lots of dancing, singing and parachute games. Read more….

Pre-school leavers trip to Noah’s Ark - August 2013
It was a beautifully warm summer’s day for our trip at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm to say goodbye to all the children who would be leaving us to go off to school in September, the staff and children had a great time feeding and petting the animals, playing in the park, swinging on the ropes in the hay barn, and running off some energy in the adventure play area. Charlie the Tortoise

Olympic Torch - May 2012
The children at both the Nailsea and Yatton nurseries were fortunate enough to be visited by an Olympic torch runner. The children and staff were able to touch and hold the torch and even have their photos taken with it! Read more….
